Description

Depiction of (lower middle right) the Buddha taming the elephant Nalagiri. The Buddha is standing in the middle, on the left side is the elephant depicted, kneeling in front of the Buddha. Above him there is the image of a stūpa. On the other side of the Buddha stands a man, most likely, his cousin Devadatta.
